This poet reminds me of the hard hitting poetry of the 70's during my college days (yea I'm that old).  This is far from lame.

This is the Christ the people in the street need to be introduced to. Not the phony  Christs that abound. These false Christs are the reason most of the church is lost. People see the failure of pastors and we allow the failed pastor to remain in leadership, in spite of biblical directives for leadership. As we permit more and more disqualified pastors to reign the True Jesus is being distorted to cover their personal failures and sins. Eventually we wind up with a weakened and dysfunctional church.

Do you need to be reintroduced to Christ?

  We don't need a new Christ, we just need to find the true Christ. Most just need to be Re-introduced to Christ.  Is This the Christ you’ve been introduced to, a gimmie, gimmie, Christ. What we need is a Christ to save our soul from a burning hell, a Christ to forgive us of our sins, a Christ who empowers us to be obedient. As the retailers crank up for the Christmas season so do the peddlers of simony(See Acts 8), the sellers of the gift of God.
