I recently heard a women pastor (an oxymoron) twist scripture last week on the radio trying to convince the audience that Phoebe was the bishop of Rome. Phoebe’s name is only mentioned once in scripture in Rom 16. This is the type of absurd scripture twisting that disqualified and unauthorized users of God’s name use to abuse the body. I am located in Orlando Florida and it is really getting bad. People have no idea how to choose a church. Couples in ministry divorce and both have churches. That’s right the man and the woman. Both have no biblical basis for pastoring but yet they do. Look through our local paper ministry section and women proudly display their availability as if they are legitimate. They are NOT. You can’t locate a single woman pastor in all of scripture. They lead people astray and are not spirit led. For a biblical discussion on women in leadership click here.
Scripture speaks time after time of the worth of women in ministry. Women ministered to Jesus and the Apostles. They were essential in handling the growth of the persecuted new church. Paul proclaims the value of women in ministry throughout the epistles. However he clearly, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, states that women can’t hold the office of pastor (elder, overseer, or bishop).
I often wonder what would motivate a man to sit underneath an oxymoron called a female pastor. Scripture is clear in prohibiting women from this leadership position. Again the question is why? I have had the opportunity to talk to a gentleman who has been rescued from this unbiblical church. He mentioned two of the reasons I had surmised for attending these unbiblical congregations. First he mentioned “men chasing skirts” because these churches appear to good hunting ground because of the lack of teaching on morality and lack of church discipline. Secondly he mentioned henpecked men who come to church simply for “peace” sake.
As I reviewed the other likely reasons for attending these corrupt churches, I realized most could be summarized as “Piece or Peace”. Allow me to give six reasons men attend abhorrent churches pastored by women:
1. Many single men go for piece sake, chasing skirts for the purpose of fornication. Yes there are men, sin filled men who will go anywhere to quell their lust. These men are seducers looking for weak willed women.
2. They go for peace sake. These men are henpecked by their wives and have no peace in their home from these domineering women. Their demands must be met or there is hell to pay. They refuse to submit to God’s word, therefore they refuse to submit to their husband. Nag, Nag, nag. These men are bound to the women spoken of in proverbs. Pr 21:9 ¶ It is better to live in a corner of a roof Than in a house shared with a contentious woman. Pr 25:24 ¶ It is better to live in a corner of the roof Than in a house shared with a contentious woman. They demand which church they attend and they want a church which teaches female dominance.
3. Married men often go for piece sake. There are certain married women who unless they get their way will refuse to obey the biblical mandate of 1 Corinthian 7:3-5 commonly referred to as “due benevolence”. These women threaten to withhold their bodies if they fail to get their way; therefore the men go to the church of the woman’s choice.
4. Some men simply want a piece of power. They go seeking position and title. They realize there must be some pseudo appearance of male leadership. Therefore they seek the position and all the free meals and trips that come with it. They fail to realize they are being pimped by the women in charge and used to give a false credibility. Many phony women pastors have so subdued these men that they vehemently defend the women’s right to be a pastor. These men are simply wimped out.
5.You also have a group of men that seek the money. These seek a piece of change or money. These have a flesh drawn to covetousness. They can see when a game is being run and want in. So they seek out these congregations and participate in the con, simple for money, for the graft involved. They allow their wife to pastor if it brings money into the account and they deceive other men. These last two groups resemble the false prophets of 1 King 22 and 2 Chronicle 18. These false prophets loved the robes, the royalty, the pomp and the parties associated with leadership and were willing to lie to obtain and keep their position and benefits.
6. Finally you have a group of men who have just failed to study the word and just don’t know any better. These men just need a piece of knowledge. These men are intelligent, just illiterate when it comes to scripture and sitting under a women pastor will keep you that way. A female pastor will NEVER teach the whole counsel of Gods Holy Writ. To do so would reveal that they are disqualified from the position they seek.
It’s time for real men and women of God to stand up and warn those sitting under false unbiblical leadership. Remember pimps come in both sexes. False teachers abound, male and female and only the Holy Writ and a proper application can discern truth and error. These are not God's churches for they fail to follow God's word. Call a spade a spade.
“Christianity started in Palestine as a fellowship; it moved to Greece andbecame a philosophy; it moved to Italy and became an institution; it moved toEurope and became a culture; it came to America and became an enterprise.” -Sam Pascoe
“Anenterprise. That’s a business.” After a few moments Martha, the youngeststudent in the class, raised her hand. I could not imagine what her questionmight be. I thought the little vignette was self-explanatory, and that I hadperformed it brilliantly. Nevertheless, I acknowledged Martha’s raised hand,“Yes, Martha.” She asked such a simple question, “A business? But isn’t itsupposed to be a body?” I could not envision where this line of questioning wasgoing, and the only response I could think of was, “Yes.” She continued, “Butwhen a body becomes a business, isn’t that a prostitute?” as told by David Ryser
I’vebeen fighting for a long time the prompting of my inner man to take on thissubject. Although I have chewed around the edges like I used to do as a childwhen I would break off the crust from a hot, home-made apple pie in attempt toappease my hunger without my mother finding out, I never really stuck my thumb into the middle of the pie.
Ihave been a sellout. A pimp, if you will. Not onpurpose. It is easy to justify our lack of courage when confronted withdifficult issues. I try to faithfully deliver the mail as the Lord hands it tome, but I have been negligent by eating the crust out of fear of spoiling thepieBottom ofForm
Yousee, I have pulled my punches. I have softened the blow. I have spanked with anewspaper when they deserved a belt. I have sold out on the Truth. I have notcalled a spade a spade. I have nibbled at the crust when I should have beenhammering the pie. I have taken the be-nice approach and have listened to the “touch not God’s anointed”mentality. I have prostituted the Truth. For that I am sorry.
Oh,my intentions were good. I had hoped that as I exposed the “unfruitful works of darkness”that the churches would eventually awaken and begin to push back against theenemy. After ten years of trying to awaken “The Church” to the problem I havefinally mustered the courage to say what I have known all along. “The Church”IS the problem. It has become a pimp, selling the works of “the body” forpersonal satisfaction. Most of the pulpits are filled by “hirelings” (more on that ina future commentary), men and women who stand in the pulpit without a calling, without an anointing, and without courage. They are man pleasers, living off of“the Body” as they sell it out for their own whims and pleasures. Greedy Dogs, Isaiah calledthem. Blind watchmen…loving to sleep…leading the flock astray.
Notall of the churches. If you are a pastor and have read this far then I amprobably not talking about you. I have met many courageous men who boldly liveout the command to “lead them out.” You knowwho you are. You are the one’s who have been criticized, belittled, and callednames by the “pimp in the pulpit” at the big church downtown.
Yousee, to him, the church is a business…an enterprise…a social club totallydependant on butts and bucks. It is a place to make business contacts, networkwith others in the community, and soothe one’s conscience through weeklyattendance and philanthropy. It is no different from a whore house where awoman’s body is sold for the pleasure of another. Love-less intercourse isprostitution. Most church goers love the service that Jesus provides(membership has its privileges) but don’t really know the Jesus who providesit.
I’llbe honest. I’ve been afraid to say some of these things for fear of alienatingeven more pastors. I was afraid that my harshness might alienate those “frozenchosen” pastors and eliminate opportunities to “minister” to theircongregations. That’s where I have pimped-out my call. The pastors are not theanswer, they are the problem.
Insteadof cleaning out Congress perhaps we should start by cleaning out the pulpit. Judgment begins first in the house ofGod. America is a reflection of the churches and the churches are areflection of the pulpits. It is time to “throw the bums out”…even if they dohide behind the “touch not my anointed.” When a football team isunder-performing who gets the boot? Yep, the coach.
Allowme to be frank as I cut to the chase. Pick up your family and get out of themausoleum you are attending and find a place that serves the Lord. I couldn’tcare less how many generations your family has been a member, how many pewsyour family has donated, and how many of your friends attend. Sitting on yourbutt every Sunday is not serving the Lord, it is the Lord serving you. Thefeel-good Gospel is a fraud. Jesus taught self-sacrifice not self-fulfillment. “Greaterlove has no man than this than he would lay down his life for his friends….”Love demands sacrifice. What have you sacrificed for your faith? You areengaging in Spiritual welfare…living off of the efforts of others.
Startfighting back by no longer giving them your money. Don’t allow them to hit youover the head with the “bring all of the tithes into thestorehouse” hammer without asking yourself some very importantquestions. What is a storehouse and what is itspurpose? What does the Scripture mean by “meat in my house” and who is the meatfor? Are there families in your “church” who are losing their homes? Is thatnot who the “meat in the house” was stored up for or were the storehouse fundsused for a new parking lot?
Isthe purpose of the tithe (by the way, my wife and I believe in tithing) to paysenior pastors, associate pastors, youth ministers, worship leaders, andsecretaries to do “ministry?” Can’t you “tithe” different places? Did the NewTestament church teach the concept of “professional” Christians or were the eldersof the church also tent-makers? Does “meat inmy house” mean bigger buildings, paved parking lots, and padded pews? Is your“church” experiencing a budget crunch right now because they have eaten themeat that should have been placed in the storehouse? I know, “let them eatblacktop.”
Isstorehouse money supposed to be spent on the already converted or on seekingand saving that which is lost? What percent of your church’s budget go to“missions”…as if that is a separate job…in comparison to utilities, paper, salaries, and operating expenses?
Don’tstop giving, just change where you give. Find a ministry that is using themoney to reach out to the community and send your tithe there. Remember, it isthe “Lord’s house” into which your finances are to be offered….not some socialclub to which your tithe is nothing more than monthly dues. It is time youasked yourself if the Spirit still dwells in your church.
Mywife and I have spent the last few weeks reading the book of Acts in ourmorning devotionals. You should do the same. They spread the Gospel around theworld at great personal peril and sacrifice. The self-serving American-Churchis a pathetic step-child to Christianity’s founding fathers.
Mostchurches love money, chase money, compromise over money. A pastor in New Yorkwas just fired from his $600,000 salary! The nationalaverage for pastors is$84,426! No wonder they won’t speak against sin! Why not include those wealthyhomosexuals in the congregation!
Peoplehave asked me to start a church. I tell them that they are nuts. Truth emptieschurches, it doesn’t fill them. My friend Flip Benham says guys likeme would be the Dr. Kervorkian of churchgrowth. What man of God would want to wipe noses when he could fight evil? Nothanks. At least on the streets I can recognize the enemy.
“And as they departed, Jesusbegan to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into thewilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? But what went ye out for tosee? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they that wear soft clothing are inkings' houses.”Yep, the pimps are the ones wearing the nice clothes. Funny isn’t it? The pimpsin the pulpits accuse street preachers of being undignified.
Whatdid Jesus say about the ultimate street preacher John the Baptist? “Verily Isay unto you, among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greaterthan John the Baptist.”
Blameless, Blameless, Blameless is the call of the
pulpit. Not everyone can be a leader in the church. Though you may be a great
speaker, a fantastic expositor of God’s word. You may be charismatic till your
cup runneth over!! The pulpit is required to be by biblical standards a scandal
free zone. You may be able to preach people into a wild frenzy. The pulpit is
still a scandal free zone. Any unbiased readying of God’s word acknowledges
that the pulpit is not a place for women (1tim 2 11-15). An unbiased reading of
God’s word also reveals that no every man qualifies for the position.
1Ti 3:1 ¶ This is a faithful saying: If a man
desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work.
1Ti 3:2 A
bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate,
sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;
This one word “blameless” defines the character of
the pulpit. Blameless does not mean sinless, or no one would be able to stand behind the
sacred desk. Is scandal associated with your pastor? Could the scandal be about
money, divorce, children out of wedlock, drunkenness? Or maybe it could be pedophilia,
adultery or spouse abuse. You name the scandal. If your pastor is involved in a
scandal, you have a problem. The problem is he shouldn’t beyour pastor. You don’t have debate or discuss
what God has decided. The culture can’t change what God has decided. Your
emotions can’t change what God has decided. Your affection for your leader can’t
change what God has decided. Your relationship with your leader can’t change
what God has decided. 1Timothy goes aheadand list over a dozen scandals that MUST be avoided to be in leadership.
Please note that “must” does not make
these qualifications optional. They are an absolute necessity and the failure
of submitting to these put that leader at odds with Gods Holy Writ.
He must, He must, He must, He must, He must
He must be “a one woman man”
Does this describe your pastor? Since he has stepped
upon that holy pulpit has he maintained his status as “a one woman man”. If he
is married has he maintained faithfulness to that wife of his youth, avoiding
adultery and sexual immorality? If he is
single, he must be celibate. Unfortunately many manmade pastors treat the
congregation and their personal concubine. Become involved in scandals which
lead to divorce and embarrassment to God and the ministry. That is why pastors
fail to teach this passage. In most case it would expose the fact that they are
disqualified. Even though we’ve only dealt with a portion of one verse I insist
you read at least the whole 3rd chapter for proper context. Please tell me if you see
me in error.
And you will not pass out a trac, putout fliers, tell a co-worker about Jesus, leave a trac in a restroom,or tell your family members about Jesus because you don't want to be rejected? SHAME SHAME SHAME.
Please keep this little girl and the persecuted church around the world in your prayers.
Hindu
extremists may have burned a 10-year-old Christian girl’s face,
inflicted shrapnel wounds on 40 percent of her body and forced her
family to hide in a forest and flee to a refugee camp in Orissa, India,
but her plight hasn’t shaken her faith and thankfulness to God this
season.
“Christmas is a time to thank the baby Jesus who saved
me from the fire and saved my face which was disfigured and wounded,”
Namrata Nayak told Asia News.
Nayak’s face was severely
mutilated after Hindu extremists bombed the home where she was staying
on Aug. 26. They broke into the house and burned it while Nayak and her
siblings hid in a small bathroom. Before exiting the home, they left a
bomb in a dresser, according to the report.
While the little girl surveyed the destruction, the bomb detonated and burned her face.
The explosion also lodged shrapnel into her face, hands and back.
Nayak’s mother, Sudhamani, came running out of the forest where she was hiding.
“We
saw everything burned, and feared that everyone had died in the
flames,” Sudhamani said. “Instead, thanks to God, everyone was safe.
Only that my daughter had been wounded. But Jesus took care of her. We
took her to the hospital in Berhampur, still unconscious and badly
hurt.”
Nayak spent 45 days recovering in the hospital. Despite
all her troubles, she is cheerful and giving thanks to God for healing
her.
“There is so much pain and suffering, and I don’t know how
long the special forces will protect us,” she told Asia News. “But
Christmas is a time of gratitude. I am afraid that my people will still
be attacked, but this is our life. If God has saved me, he can save
other Christians too.”
The Hindu attackers have vowed to launch
another widespread assault on Christians during Christmas. The violence
began after Christians were blamed for the death of Hindu leader Swami
Laxmanananda Saraswati on Aug. 24. They continue to be persecuted even
though Maoists openly admitted to murdering Saraswati.
Hindus
have offered money, food and alcohol to anyone who murders Christians
and destroys their homes – especially pastors. Thousands of homes and
churches have been destroyed, and Christians have been forced to flee
the violence. Many have been doused with kerosene and torched after
refusing to renounce their Christian faith.
Nonetheless, Nayak urges India’s Christians to forgive their Hindu attackers.
“[W]e
forgive the Hindu radicals who attacked us, who burned our homes,” she
told Asia News. “They were out of their minds, they do not know the
love of Jesus. For this reason, I now want to study so that when I am
older I can tell everyone how much Jesus loves us. This is my future.”
Nayak said her life plan is to share the message of God’s love.
“The
world has seen my face destroyed by the fire, now it must come to know
my smile full of love and peace,” she said. “I want to dedicate my life
to spreading the Gospel.”

Do you really carry the cure for the disease of sin (Jesus) are do you walk around with a placebo?
The congregation of the 7,000-member Trinity Chapel in Powder Springs learned Sunday that founding pastor Jim Bolin had stepped down from his position because of “inappropriate sexual behavior.”
Justin Harley, Trinity Chapel’s elder of counseling, later revised the church’s statement to officially include the phrase “inappropriate consensual sexual conduct with an adult woman” to explain Bolin’s departure.
Rev. Jim Bolin will go through a two-year ‘restoration process,’ church officials said.
Bolin is to take the two years away from the pulpit for a restoration process, church officials told the congregation Sunday.
During the emotional 90-minute service, church officials said Bolin would go through a two-year “restoration process,” which includes counseling, through the Church of God. Bolin did not attend the service.
Bolin, 56, will be inactive in the ministry during that period, said Justin Harley, Trinity Chapel’s director of counseling.
Bolin’s 32-year-old son, Jason Bolin, raised in the church his parents started in an Austell Road storefront 25 years ago with five families, will take over as head pastor, assisted by his wife Sarah Bolin. He had been on the church staff the last 10 years, most recently as executive pastor.
The announcement was made from the pulpit by Donald M. Walker, the state administrative bishop for the Church of God. Walker called the day “rueful and sobering” and often choked up and dabbed his eyes. He began by reading a letter to the congregation from Jim Bolin.
Bolin opened the letter by saying “I have sinned against God” and that takes “full responsibility and blame” for the circumstances that have rocked the church during the last week. He provided no other details.
“Today you see what a wrong choice has caused,” Bolin wrote. “Please learn from this.”
Bolin also said that “the road to restitution is long,” adding, “I’m not finished yet.”
The more than 2,000 people in attendance for the first of two morning services often gave standing ovations to Walker and Jason Bolin when they asked forgiveness for their founding pastor, and called on the church to unite and move forward.
“I think the church will be stronger than ever,” said Teri Burns of Powder Springs, a member for six years. “Jim Bolin was my hero. But he is also human and I forgive him. It’s been a tough week, but it’s over. There’s a new week ahead.”

Someone must leave! The pastor must leave his prior post or you must leave the congregation. These are the choices when a pastor becomes disqualified. Staying under a disqualified pastor is not showing forgiveness, it is not showing love, it is not showing loyalty. It is showing disrespect, it is showing disobedience, it is showing yourself as a stumblingblock.
As I ride the metro Orlando area disqualified pastors abound, many taking advantage of the people in a number of ways such as;
keeping the congregation biblically illiterate, twisting and miss using scripture to obligate the people to giving 10% of their income by compulsion
using the members as a harem, etc.
a personal cash cow
Just take the time to read 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 and you will see how many disqualified pastor cross your pathway daily. It doesn't matter whether you are in Apopka, Sanford or Orlando. Travel Silver Star, Bruton, Pine Hills or Kirkman and the disqualified will rise and beckon you to come to their church.
They call you to come with their radio shows, they call you with their TV shows, and they even call you with their billboards; saying coming and sit under a disqualified pastor. They are disqualified by the word of God, see the article Pick A Pastor Pt1. You go there and stay in direct contradiction to the word of God, but you say where has God spoken to me. He speaks to you in his word, where he warns you about the unruly, the heretic, the false teacher, the covetous, the greedy for money and more. But you stay and think you are being compassionate , no you are being disobedient. How is one to behave, what do you do when your pastor has been disqualified?
Start off the new year right. Serving the right God in a right church. No I didn't say perfect church. I know my church is not perfect, why? Because I am there it can never be perfect. But my church strives to conform to the image of the church presented by God in the pastoral epistles. Whenever error is found it is not tolerated but cast aside quickly. Most churches need to go through the sanctification process just as we do as individuals do. Does your church practice church discipline as outlined in Matthew 18:15-20. Is there immorality prevalent and being tolerated under the disguise of "forgiveness and love"? Do this for yourself....the next service you are in analyze how much time is actually spent in the word (i.e. church begins at 11 end at 1:30 but only 20 minutes spent in the word). How can you learn what is pleasing to the Lord ( Ephesian 5:9-10) if the word is not properly expounded. Are you being put under the curse for failing bring in 10% irregardless of your circumstances in direct violation to 2 Corinthian 9:7. Have you ever wrote a check to the IRS under compulsion and been cheerful about it....no!
Take a step back and realize it could be time to search for a new church home. I reside in Orlando Florida and must confess, it was a hard task selecting a biblical church. Immediately that eliminates fallen pastors, women pastors and greedy pastors. Search hard my friend you soul depends on it!
In these hard times is your Pastor telling you to pay your tithes, before your rent. I sometimes click on the TV and see how many false teachers are simultaneously on. Well this morning somebody new showed up. This clown was selling a golden key, yea thats right a golden key. It irritated me to no end.
How about your pastor?? Is he telling you to pay your tithes before food is on the table. Does your pastor accuse you of robbing God is you fail to bring him 10% of your money. Does Your Pastor promise a curse for failing to submit to his pimpery.
Well this is where the idea could have orginated from for many of the gospelpreneurs in the religious market place
In an upcoming post I will biblicaly show you that paying your 10% to your rolls driving, mansion living pastor BEFORE taking care of your family is unbiblical.
KNOW WHY YOU ARE DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING OR MISDIRECTED PASSIONS By Jason Adams
In this heated battle of the Presidential race there is a lot of turmoil going on in the body of Christ about whom the next President will be. Saints are actually dividing over this, some have even left their local assembly and I would ask the question, why? I would like to believe that this race would not outshine the race that we should be running in Christ, but I see that it is. I find that people are so hungry for an earthly king that they must have forgotten their marching orders from the heavenly King. Some of you have never gone to witness outside your comfort zone but you are willing to go into the most dangerous and vile parts of town to campaign for a individual who has no eternal real estate for you to invest in. Others drive 2 or 3 hours for a glance at your earthly king. Many of you provide a list of excuses for not holding up a sign for Jesus or passing out a silent preacher, but you spend gas and time putting up signs for your earthly king. You will involve someone in a fifteen minute conversation trying to convince them to vote for your earthly king but you failed to even mention Jesus. How much time have you spent canvassing your neighborhood for your favorite candidate? Are you spending as much time telling people about Jesus as you are for your favorite candidate,….No. Unfortunately many of you have passed out more campaign material for an earthly king in the last few months than your entire lifetime for Jesus. It is time you examine yourself. So I ask, do you know why you’re doing what you are doing. If you don't, you might need to pick up your bible and find out what God has to say concerning this issue of salvation to a sick and depraved world. Government cannot save you. This world is hopeless, even with your favorite candidate who is just as undeserving of God’s grace and mercy as you are. But hail to the TRUE king, the one and only Jesus Christ, the carpenter, Mary's baby, the second person of the trinity( I added a few more names so there would be no mistake who I’m talking about) who was battered and bruised for your iniquities that you might come into a right relationship with the GOD of the universe. The church is so caught up in this fiasco that she is acting like a woman who has lost her husband and has become a busybody in someone else's affairs, it’s time for her to get back to her first love which is Christ. Scripture is clear when it says to the church that we should live in the world, but not like the world. The world (namely America) is concerned about three major topics, The economy, health care and the war. As far as the church is concerned these are issues that shouldn’t even really bother us because scripture tells us how to handle each one. ECONOMY= He owns the cattle on a thousand hills so his supply is limitless but when he gives us our lot, in some cases we become unwise stewards, and now we fall prey to the world’s system. HEALTH CARE=the word tells us by his stripes we were healed, that never meant we wouldn’t get sick. We live in no good filthy flesh, but thank goodness we were cleansed and healed from the bondage of sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. WAR= even though it is something we don't like this is part of bible prophecy and must be fulfilled. God created everyone that ever lived as a free moral agent you have the right to feel, believe, and choose whichever way you like but in the end God is still sovereign and runs this whole show and that won't CHANGE!
On the surface this sounds like a simple question, with a simple answer of “yes”. Well allow me to rephrase the question. Can your pastor effectively pray for you and the congregation? Most would once again answer “yes”. Of course this question is posed to males only, since women pastors are a sinful oxymoron.
Let’s say while having a conversation with a brother, you were discussing the martial divorce of a friend of his. During the discussion, the topic of prayer came up and the question was, how effective is his prayer? It is well known and he has publicly acknowledged that he has had an adulterous affair. Are his prayers effective? Furthermore he is now divorcing his wife, and his household is in shams. How effective are his prayers?
Let’s look at a couple of verses for reference.
Jas 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (nkjv)
James 5:16 So confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness. (net)
This verse reminds us that the prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness. Therefore we would think that God hears and heeds our pastor’s prayer. The question to be answered is “ is your pastor righteous? That’s a debate I choose not to enter into in this brief article. There are many reason our prayers are hindered but tonight we will discuss only one, Marriage and the household.
Be honest would you say that the person described above, the adulterer described above is righteous according to God’s word. To make the answer easier let’s look at a verse that is more objective.
1 Pet 3:7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered. (nkjv)
1 Pet 3:7 Husbands, in the same way, treat your wives with consideration as the weaker partners and show them honor as fellow heirs of the grace of life. In this way nothing will hinder your prayers. (net)
This verse clearly informs us that this mans prayer are cut off, hindered. His prayers are of none effect. Suppose the man described above is your pastor. Suppose he is one of the many pastors divorcing their wives. Can you pastor effectively pray for you? Be logical and not so emotional for a moment. If a man can’t lift a 100lb weight how can you expect him to lift a 500lb weight. If he can’t do the lesser, he can’t do the greater.
Be honest, your adulterous pastor can’t effectively pray for you, but you are emotionally tied to him. He opens with a prayer, thanking God for all in attendance; he prays for you to get a job; he prays for your healing; he prays for your children’s behavior and more. But are his prayers effective?
His prayers are hindered and ineffective!!!
How would you analyze your adulterous pastor and his prayers in light of Prov 28:9? The one who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.
Ps 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear.
Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Today, thousand are sitting beneath pastors that can’t get a prayer past the ceiling. This is idolatry in one its worst fashions. It is being pimped with no benefits. You are a herald for the pastor in all in glory. Though biblically disqualified you endorse him with your word, actions and financing. He can give you nothing that last but you give him everything. You are like the prostitute on the corner giving her money and body to the pimp but gaining nothing. You are being pimped and loving it. You are behaving as son of disobedience.
If his prayers are hindered at home they are hindered in the church. Listen to Paul as he gives Timothy instructions on how to run the Church of God 1 Tim 3:4 He must manage his own household well and keep his children in control without losing his dignity. God knows that a wrecked household leads to a wrecked prayer life. A pastor that can’t pray for his household can’t effectively pray for his church. That is why God calls him disqualified. The final question is “Why do you still call him pastor?
Please let this be a warning to local churches in Orlando. You know who you are. It will happen to your church soon if you fail to have a biblical response to sin in your church. Does your church have a sissy on the piano? How about an adulterous whoremonger who is cheating on his wife sitting at the keyboard or drums. Have you ever thought that he could be cheating with your wife next? He could be looking at your daughter or son with eyes full of adultery. Who is heading your dance ministry? Are they lusting after your children? Remember pedophiles come in both sexes. Who are you letting transport your children? If they are full of debauchery you can be sure they are wanting to get their lecherous hands on your children, your wife or even your husband. If your church refuses to clean up, then leave. Let's be honest in many Central Florida churches the cleanup needs to start in the pulpit. Will their next victim be a family member from under your roof, if so the fault is partially yours because you have been warned!! Leaving is both biblical and safe.
Guilty plea entered in rape case Music director at church admits sex with 12-year-old
By Melissa Harris | Sun reporter May 29, 2008
The 31-year-old former music director of the influential West Baltimore Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church pleaded guilty yesterday to second-degree rape for having sex with a young female parishioner.
Timothy D. Price III of Owings Mills admitted in Baltimore Circuit Court that he had sex with the female parishioner who was 12 at the time. He is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 1. Prosecutors said they will seek a sentence of 20 years, with all but seven years suspended, and five years of probation.
Assistant State's Attorney Katherine Moxley said Price and the girl had sex on three occasions in his car between Dec. 1 and Jan. 15. The meetings were all off church property, two in a West Baltimore alley and one in a parking lot near Druid Hill Park, Moxley said.
The encounters occurred after Price obtained permission from the girl's mother to take her to an outreach center and home from Bible study and a dance class, the prosecutor said. Moxley said the girl told her mother of the encounters, and her mother reported them to police Jan. 26.

The victim, now 13, did not attend the hearing, but her mother and other relatives did. The victim's mother declined to comment, but Moxley said the family requested that the facts of the case be read in open court. Price has been held in the Baltimore City Detention Center in lieu of $1 million bail since his arrest in February.
Kershaw sometimes handles cases involving sex crimes at the bench, but Jo Anne Stanton, chief of the state's attorney's sex offense division, said she has instructed her prosecutors to argue that they be handled in open court.
"Sex crimes generally are committed in secret, and the secretive nature is what gives perpetrators power over their victims," Stanton said in an interview. "When plea deals are handled at the bench, it continues the impression that the perpetrators are in control and gives the victim the impression that the matter is still a secret."
Bethel AME, on Druid Hill Avenue in Upton, has more than 17,000 members, including Mayor Sheila Dixon, Comptroller Joan M. Pratt and former Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke. It is a regular stop for politicians seeking city and statewide office.
Bethel's pastor, the Rev. Frank M. Reid III, attended yesterday's hearing with his wife, Marlaa'. The couple left after the hearing and did not appear to speak with Price's family.
Reid told The Sun in February that he had hired Price after a national search for a music director. He said Price's references were checked and that he had previously spent three years at Harvest Time Church in Houston.
Reid's wife said the couple had no comment, but she confirmed that Price is no longer the church's music director. "We're praying for the family," she said.
The case is considered an age-based sex crime, in that Price is not accused of using force or the threat of force to get the girl to have sex with him. The crime lies in the difference in age between Price and his victim. The delay in reporting meant that prosecutors were unable to collect DNA evidence from the victim, but they had Price's written and taped confession to police, along with text messages between him and the girl, Moxley said.
Price and the girl began communicating via text message and cell phone conversations in June or July last year, Moxley said.
Charles L. Waechter, Price's attorney, said his client is "extremely remorseful."
Yesterday, Kershaw granted Waechter's request that Price undergo a psychiatric evaluation before sentencing. Waechter said he believes the results will help him argue for less punishment.
"The issue is whether or not he is a threat to the community," Waechter said. "Those evaluations will address that primary issue."
Because it is Price's first offense, the sentencing guidelines recommend that he be incarcerated for four to nine years, Moxley said.
Waechter said Price's relatives, including his wife, did not want to speak to reporters. Price has three children, ages 12, 11 and 1, the attorney said.
This sound bite is from the late 90’s by John Cherry. It reminds us of common conditions in a “dead church”. The appropriate text is Revelation 3. Is Christ knocking at the door of your church trying to get in? After listening to the sermon outtake, see if you can think of other biblical indications for a dead church.
Remember what Jesus proclaimed in Lu 19:40 But Jesus answered, "I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out!". Never take for granted that because miracles or supposed miracles are occurring in a church that the church is alive. Recollect that the donkey talked to Balaam but the donkey wasn’t saved. Nu 22:28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? Nu 22:29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee. Nu 22:30 And the ass said unto Balaam, [Am] not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since [I was] thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.
Often the heart of man is hardened that they're unwilling to face the truth. Even more so they ignore plain clear truth in pursuit of their desires. Balaam desire was money but it can also be relationships, titles, status and etc. It is this blindness that will allow a man to bring his wife and daughters into a church where the pastor can not keep his pants up! They prefer to take a sword to the word of God and His true prophet rather than change.
The donkey speaks and rather than accepting the the word of deliverance Balaam wishes to kill the donkey. That is the attitude of the deceived in the church when the truth is presented. Therefore Christian apologist such as John Coleman, I.C. and Melvin expect to be slandered and attacked.
So are you sitting in a dead church and ignoring all the warning signs surrounding you? Are you elevating the pleasures gained in fellowship with the dead church above the admonition of God to seperate yourself.? Are you choosing to curse yourself in pursuit of worldly pleasures? 2Co 6:17 "Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE," says the Lord. "AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you.
Are you welcome in the sight of God or are you intentionally sitting in a dead church?
